The kids had alot of fun trick or treating this year. They went up to the church for trunk or treat and ended up with too much candy. I think I might have to help them take care of that.

Family Halloween Party
Every year someone in the family puts together a Halloween Party. Usually we have dinner parties but this year Becky and I were in charge and decided to have a scavenger hunt. I think it turned out pretty good and hopefully everyone had fun. The best part was afterwards and listening to all the teams stories about solving the clues. Here are some pictures of the teams.

Therapy For A BYU Loss
So I think I jinxed the cougars the last time I posted and they lost against TCU. It was a sad day at our house, but we found the perfect therapy to help get over it, (or at least forget about it for awhile.) The next day we were getting in the car to get lunch and Steve told us to go in and pack our bags because we were going to Disneyland. After 12 1/2 hours (which Teagan only slept the last 2 hours) we arrived in Anaheim.
Johnson Cousins
I don't know if you can see it or not but Kylie is soaking wet. Steve and Kylie went on Splash Mountain that night as the last ride. When they got off they didn't get wet at all, not even a little splash. So Kylie who doesn't like to get wet said she wanted to go on one more time before we went back to our hotel that night. So I took her back in and when it was our turn we sat right next to eachother in the very last row. And as you can see Kylie didn't stay dry that time, but I did.
You might think Teagan doesn't look very happy in this picture but don't let him fool you. All the boys wanted to ride more rides and the girls wanted to go see the princesses. But not my kids Kylie wanted to go ride the rides and Teagan wanted to see the princesses. I tried to talk him in to seeing Mickey Mouse but as soon as we started to walk away from the princesses he started crying.

Family Update
I can't believe it is October. Time has gone by so fast this year it's crazy. Where has the summer gone? I woke up the other morning to freezing cold weather and snow on the ground. I am not ready for it to be cold. I guess I have to get use to the great weather in Idaho. I haven't talked about our family very much so I thought I would write a few things and let you know how and what the Johnson Family has been up to lately. I will start with the youngest and that would be Teagan. He has grown so much I can't believe it. He is talking like crazy and I think most the time everyone can understand him. But there are a few times when I have to ask Kylie what he said. Teagan loves Dora, he will sing the songs and repeat everything she says. Whenever Dora is on you know where Teagan will be, right in front of the T.V. He is a funny little boy that makes us laugh everyday. Then there is Kylie who we have found out is not a morning person at all. I have to drag her out of bed most mornings to get her ready for school, and get asked practical every morning why I put her in the morning class and not the afternoon. But once we get her to school she is happy and excited to be there with her friends and teacher, who she adores. Kylie has started gymnastics again and she is doing great. I can't believe how much she has learned in such a short time. She really enjoy gymnastics and practices everywhere she goes. She enters and leaves the room doing handstands to cartwheels to somersaults, it gets to be too much sometimes. But I have to say I am so blessed to have such great kids!!! Now about Steve, he has been working a lot lately, and the kids are so excited to see him when he gets home. He has been traveling all over the U.S. and Canada working hard so we can go to Disneyland (that is what Kylie tells us). He really enjoys his job and the people he works with. I have to tell you that Steve has been in a great mood the last few months because his favorite football team (BYU, for those of you who don't know Steve) have been doing awsome this season, so keep it up Cougars. Now it is my turn to tell you what I have been up to. I am going to ISU, hopefully I can apply to the nursing program next fall. School has been fun, not so fun, and sometimes just gets in the way of having fun, but I guess I will stick with it. Every year my family has a Halloween party and my sister and I are in charge of it this year. It has been fun putting it together. We decided to do a scavenger hunt this year, I will have to let you know how it goes. But that is it for me, I am a boring person. Most of my free time I try to study and hang out with Steve and the kids. I have a great family and I love to be with them. And we are doing great, staying healthy, and having fun. :)

Softball
Kylie and Teagan have really enjoyed the softball season. Once a week they would get to stay up late and play at the softball fields with cousins and new friends they would meet that night. I got the kids to stand still for one fast picture before they were off again.
Steve and I have been playing softball this summer on a coed team with family and friends. At one of the tournaments a guy hit a line drive at me and broke my thumb through my glove, (I think it is time to get a new glove). It happened the very first game so I had to play 4 more games with a broken thumb, lets just say I was glad when we were finished.

FAIR TIME
There is always a parade the first day the fair starts and this year Kylie was asked to ride her gymnastic class float. She said she had fun but it was really hot.
Do you notice how none of the kids are actually driving the race cars?
Teagan loved the dutch oven cooking. He almost ate the whole thing.
Kylie and Teagan couldn't wait for the fair to start. Everyday Kylie would want me to drive past the fair grounds so she could see if they had started to set up the rides. Finally they did and we were able to ride the rides, eat some good food, and have sooo much fun.

1st Day of Kindergarten
I can't believe Kylie is in Kindergarten. It was really hard for me to leave her on her first day. She was a little nervous, but got over it really fast and had so much fun. Now she is excited to go every day.
Kylie in front of her new school!! And she was so excited to be line leader on the first day.
