Bad Blogger

Sorry I am not very good at updating my blog. But I thought I better catch up before school starts again. We had a great Christmas break, Steve was off the last couple weeks of December and Kylie and I were out of school, so we enjoyed hanging out. We did go down to Las Vegas to the Las Vegas Bowl with BYU and Arizona. The trip was fun, the game not so much. We bought our tickets at the game from some guy and we didn't realize that we were sitting in the Arizona student section. It got a little crazy, but it was fun to go to the game.
I posted what has been going on with our family the last couple of months so I think I am up to date, I will try to do better in the future.

Christmas Day

After all the waiting Christmas is finally here. And for the third year in a row I had to wake everyone up.
Kylie was excited to get a Barbie house and Holiday Barbie
Teagan got puzzles, a drum, and his favorite, a train set. Steve got the Seinfeld Scene It game, but I think Teagan was more excited.
I got new ski clothes
and new skis!!

After opening up all our presents we went out to my aunt's house for a delicious breakfast, went home played with all our new toys, then went out to my parent's house for some Prime Rib. It was a very busy but very fun day.

Christmas Time

I love Christmas. It's one of my favorite times of the year. Not because of gifts, or finals being over, or even all the good food, okay I lied the food is important. But I love getting together with family, listening to the kids talk about Santa and what they hope he brings them on Christmas, and everyone seems to be friendlier. It's just a great time and it helps me remember what truly is important and how much I have to be thankful for. So I hope everyone had a great Christmas.
This Christmas Eve my family got together at my cousin's house. We were so lucky because Santa took a few minutes out of his busy night to stop and drop off some early Christmas presents.
Sarah, Misty, and Annie performed Alvin and the Chipmunks for everyone

We were able to make it to the Johnson's Christmas Party in Utah.

Snowy Days
The kids were so happy to see all the snow outside and wanted to go out and play. So after hunting through all the winter clothes we found some that would work for the day. Hopefully santa brings some snow clothes that fit.
It was hard to talk them into coming inside the house, we played outside for quite awhile and Kylie made snow angels, Teagan made snowballs, and then we made a snowcastle. But the best part was going inside and having hot chocolate. Yummy!!!
Kylie's Getting Her Ears Pierced
I finally talked Kylie into getting her ears pierced for the second time. She got them pierced when she was 2 months old, but she plays with her ears when she drinks and would lose her earings. So I bought some that you have to screw the backs on, thinking this would help. But she would tighten the backs so tight they almost pinched through her ears, so we took them out and the holes grew over. So here we are the second time around. No Earings.
Yay she did it and didn't even cry.

Kylie's Birthday

Kylie was so excited for her birthday. She got to be the princess for the day, but really she is our little princess everyday. For her birthday we went bowling, and got together at our house for some dinner, cake, and of course presents!!
