Bear Lake

Every year my whole family plans a boating trip for a weekend and this year we went to Bear Lake. The weather was a little cool but we were able to have some fun. The water was so high this year and trying to find a spot on the little beach was almost impossible, but we found a nice little spot that wasn't very crowded. I didn't get any pictures but we were able to play wiffle ball and ultimate frisbee, I will have to ask around and see if anyone took some pictures of the intense games. While the adults were playing and ignoring the kids on the beach, the little kiddos got out their water toys and went to work.
Steve trying to enjoy some lunch next to the pool, what a rough life.
Teagan loved his arm wings and little green water ring, he would play in the water floating around, but when he got out of the pool he wouldn't get out of the water ring, so he would walk around the pool with it around his ankles.
Here are the 3 musketeers Kylie, Joey, and Ashlin.
Here are the brave kids ready to go on a tube ride, or they just wanted to ride in the boat but not get wet walking out to it so they got a ride on the tube...

Teagan's Birthday

Happy 3rd Birthday Teagan, we had a water party at my parent's house for Teagan, which was not the best idea. He cried most of the time because he didn't want to get wet. We also had a pinata, but he didn't want to hit it, so next year I think we will have a princess party, he will enjoy that a lot better.
Teagan's fancy new bike that he loves to ride all the time.
More toys, he was a little spoiled this year.
Candy time, Teagan is standing by me crying again.
This is not at his birthday party but I had to take a picture of my two kiddos on the 4th of July.

California Here We Come!

Finally my summer classes are over so I thought I better play catch up and post some of the things we have been doing this summer. At the first of June we were able to go to California to play and visit all the fun attractions. My cousin Brandon and Misty were planning to go for their son Kudter's birthday so we invited ourselves and tagged along. First we hit The San Diego Zoo, and I only have this one picture of the animals, but who wants to look at pictures of animals when you can look at pictures of my family!!
Oh wait I did get a picture of the monkeys! The three little monkeys are Kache, Kudter, and Teagan.
Lisa (my mom), Misty, and me
The next day we went to Sea World, I haven't been there since 8th grade and this was the first time for my kids. It was a lot of fun and they loved it.
Brandon, Kache, Kudter, and Misty
Steve, Teagan, Kylie, and Me

It was really hot, so Grammy Lisa bought frozen lemonade for the kids. The dolphin show had started but the kids were only interested in eating their lemonade.
Yay, we are finally at Disneyland,my favorite place ever!! I have been to Disneyland a bunch of times but this is the first time I have ever been on the canoe ride (I think, I might have when I was younger but I can't remember).
Misty loving the Matterhorn

My mom and Misty ready for the roller coaster, so happy and excited!
I love this picture my mom's face is hilarious!!
Kylie and Teagan were able to see their California cousins. Briana (sister-in-law) came with her boys to Disneyland this day and it was so fun to see them and let the kids ride rides together.
Thunder Mountain
Kylie, Teagan, and Kudter were asked to dance in the parade
It's A Small World
And of course we had to watch the High School Musical parade, this was the most important stop for Kylie!
At the end of the trip we were able to go to Newport Beach to play in the ocean!
When we first got there Teagan and Kylie took off in the water and a wave knocked Teagan over so that was the end of getting in the water for him.
But Kylie loved splashing in the ocean

I know there are a ton of pictures, but we had so much fun and wanted to capture every moment.

What's up with the Johnson Family!!!

So once again I am behind on my blog, I know their are many out there who check this day after day to see what is new with the Johnson family because we are such an interesting family (so not true) and are disappointed because I never post anything...so this is for all my blog stalker out there.
Kylie's last day of Kindergarten, this is an exciting and sad day for me. She is growing up too fast and will be starting 1st grade in the fall. Which she is ready for but I don't know if I am ready for her to be gone all day. We also just found out that Becky, my sister, will be her teacher next year, so that will be nice.
Kylie had a gymnastics recital the last week of May, she has improved so much and loves to tumble. I am going to have to find a class in the summer to keep her busy so if anyone knows of gymnastic classes in the summer please let me know.

Oh Teagan, what am I going to do with you. We went to a dance recital and I made the mistake of taking Teagan with me. The next morning when I got up Kylie and Teagan were dancing in the family room and Teagan had to wear a dress, but not any dress, he had to wear the purple dress. This is what happens when you are around girls all the time.I don't know what he is doing in this picture but it was pretty funny so of course I had to take a picture. What a monkey, he is definitely entertaining

Sun Valley

This post is from April, Steve had to work and I just finished 2 big test and didn't have to study for this weekend so the kids and I decided to visit my parents who happened to be in Sun Valley. It was so much fun. I have never been there and wanted to see what all the hype was about, I am now hooked on Sun Valley, I love it. So hopefully we can go back soon.
We were able to go ice skating behind the lodge, it was the first time for Teagan and Kylie. I was surprised at how well Kylie did for her first time, she was a little wobbly at first but after awhile she got the hang of it. Teagan liked it for the first couple minutes then he just wanted to play in the water of the melted ice.
Teagan is worn out and needed to take a break!!
Hooray, Papa saved the day and brought a snack for Teagan.
Kylie is getting the hang of it and loving every minute...
until she fell and bumped her head...
and now she looks like this!!

Easter Morning

Happy Easter!! We had a great Easter weekend, we were able to relax and eat yummy food at my parent's house. I love having someone else make me dinner, thanks mom and dad!!
Doesn't Kylie look so excited to get her picture taken.

After taking 25 pictures, not even joking I took that many trying to get a good picture, Teagan was being silly and wouldn't smile for the camera or would do crazy smiles, so I gave up and this is the best one I found.
The Cousins, so happy to take more pictures, I guess I wasn't the only parent taking tons of pictures this morning!!
